London Lions @ Cheshire Phoenix (22/10/17)
Cheshire Oaks Arena is best served by Ellesmere Port Station (2 miles away), which can be reached from London Euston by making 3 changes at Crewe, Chester and Hooton, or by changing at Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Central. Both routes are available for a £24 single, both leaving Euston at 10:15; due to the connections, going via Crewe is 30 minutes shorter at just under 4 hours.
The game tips off at 17:30 so you should make the 19:49 train back, going via Crewe and arriving in Euston at 23:54 and a dash for the last tube. This is also currently available for £24, making it a £48 round trip. For more flexibility, an off-peak return ticket is £83.30.
London Lions @ Sheffield Sharks (27/10/17)
Single train tickets from Kings Cross or St Pancras to Sheffield are currently available for around £20 until lunchtime. Tickets in the afternoon are significantly more expensive.
Tip-off at the English Institute of Sport is at 19:30. The last train home is at 21:54, changing at Doncaster and arriving at Kings Cross at 01:03. Getting a taxi the 2 miles to Sheffield station, you might just make it. A single is currently £45, and this service isn’t available with an off-peak return. Alternatively, with a layover, a single ticket the next day is around £20.
London Lions @ Plymouth Raiders (05/11/17)
The Lions have their final home game of the calendar year scheduled for Friday 3 November against the Worcester Wolves, before travelling to Plymouth two days later.
The 10:33 direct train from Paddington arrives in Plymouth at 14:13 in time for tip-off at 16:00.
The station is just under a mile away from the Pavilions so in a hurry you could make the 17:49 home for £20.50. Later services are currently £42-55, or return the next day for £20.50.
