If you’re voting ‘No’ to AV, don’t expect another chance during your lifetime to opt out of the unfit First Past The Post system that massively favours the Conservatives over other parties (the majority of the ‘No’ campaign funding is from Tory donors and the BNP is the only other party supporting it) and under which 1.6% of voters swung the result of the last election.
If you’re not voting, you have no right to ever complain about politics – which affects pretty much everything about living in this country – because this is your only chance to have your say on the democratic process. If that doesn’t sound like it’s worth 5 minutes of your time, try living in most of the Middle East or North Africa and see what it’s like outside the Free World.
